The Bills Won
So the Bills won today. It was a good first half, but it seems to me that Miami adjusted better in the second half. I have to wonder why doesn’t Jerry Gray adjust well in the second half. He has an awesome defensive scheme, but something seems to always happen in the second half, and the “D” is nowhere near as good as it is in the first half.
The offense did OK. The line is still not what it needs to be. Holcomb did better than Losman, but that would appear to be only because he’s been in the league for 10 years. They still need work in the red zone. They should be scoring more touchdowns, and busting through the defensive line. It’s like, they get into the 5-yard line, and they stop.
Special teams were also OK, a couple of key plays. Good punting, decent kickoffs, nice coverage on Miami’s muffed punt. But they should be getting out to beyond the 35-yard line more often.
