This Week’s Goals
This week, I will add a half-mile to my running pace. Last week, I was running a twelve-minute mile, this week it will be just under 11 minutes. I will also continure to work my abs. Finally, I will get back to working out my upper body.
I hate it when I have to re-establish a routine. It really takes a lot out of you if you don’t do it right. What’s even worse is when you have to play catch-up to get to where you were before you stopped, and be on track for the goals set at the beginning of the year. For instance, by June, I anticipated being at about an 8.5 minute mile. Hopefully, in the month and a half I have left before the race, I cna accomplish that. It will be difficult, but I have to try.
I must succeed.
