Cleaning up my comuter
Lately, I’ve been trying to clean up my computer. It takes a lot of time, and I have stuff saved from ten years ago, when I first got on the internet. Sort of using my webspace as a remote hard drive for neat things that I find on the net and want to save, but take up room. I was considering uploading it all onto the net, and going from there. That’s why I started my emails and forwards site. It’s basically a way to clear some of the shit off of my computer. It takes a while to do, though: about 3 months’ spare time to put one year’s worth of forewarded emails up on the web.
There’s so much crap, and so little space: I am going to need to get more server space, as I have about 25 mroe megs of stuff to go, just to clean the shit off of my hard drives. I have to organize it all, and decide what needs to be kept, what needs to be uploaded, what needs to be burned onto CD and archived, and what needs to be just deleted. It will take a while.
