A Convenient Announcement?
I thought it was entirely too coincidental that right after a pro-Bush Democrat loses a primary in Connecticut, there was an announcement of the capture of a terrorist ring. Apparently, they were planning on blowing up planes going from Great Britain to the States. I call this wagging the dog, because they apparently could have announced it before the primary, but the feeling is that it wouldn’t have had the same impact.
“See, you stinking Liberals, you vote foe someone who is anti-war, and what happens? A terror attack is attempted!”
That’s the Republican plan: keep America scared. But, as recent polls show, 60% of the people aren’t buying it anymore.
