The Bills Beat the Jets :-D
Well, I gotta say, it was nice to see the Bills win today. It wasn’t the easiest win, but it was convincing and the whole team, from coaching to special teams did a good job. It vindicates my feeling at the beginning of the year that the Bills are a better team than the first four games indicated. Sure, I’ve taken a beating form others, but they’ve won 3 of their last 4, and I think thay can beat New England next week. Can’t rule them out of the playoffs yet.
THe special teams are very good, if not amonghte best in the league right now. The defense stil is one of the best in the league, and the offense is starting to come together, finally. It sucks that Mike Williams got hurt, because the o-line is the weakest unit on the team, and we need all the help we can get. Hopefully, the injury isn’t too bad, and he’ll be ready for the Patsies.
I’ve been a Bills fan my entire life. I remember the mid-70′s OJ heyday, when all we had was a running game and little else, and I’ve seen or listened to every game (except one – Flutie’s last game as a Bill) since 1980. When we beat Miami for the first time in 10 years, I was chopping wood in the barn, and I decided at that point that I would do my best to watch or listen to every game, which I have.
