Still need Seven Wins
Last night, Carolina played the best game they have played in the playoffs this year. The Sabres played their worst. The officiating was horrendous on both sides of the ice. Still, the final was 4-3. There is probably going to be lots of hand-wringing by Sabres fans, but we have to look at it this way: we won one down there, which we had to do to win the series. Now, all we have to do is win out every home game, and we win the Cup.
Besides, I espected this. I predicted we would win the series in six games, which means we would LOSE TWO GAMES. Get over it, it’s a game, not the series. We won’t let them win in our house.
