I had an idea yesterday for a blog/research item. this year, it has been so far one of the hottest years on record. That is, if it isn;t the hottest year on record. I wanted to compare Atlantic Ocean temperatures from last year to this year, and air temperatures from last year to this year. Then, I wanted to compare when hurricanes started coming in full force last year to the ones that have already been named this year. I feel that this year should be a bigger storm year than last year, and I want to see if my assumptions would bear out, and if the data support my theory.
