The Ministry of Unknown Science
The Ministry of Unknown Science is a comedy troupe, or maybe a secret scientific experimental organization in cahoots with the Illuminati, hailing from LA. They’ve got some videos posted on the their website which are pretty funny.
Using Gozilla!, I downloaded the Kung Fu Fuck You video after about an hour and a half with my poor little old dial-up connection. It was worth the wait. A spoof of classic seventies martial arts movies, it had three white guys, a student and master versus an evil villain squaring off using the flipped bird as the primary weapon. I chuckled more than once. It even comes with a surprise ending (and if you think I’m going to tell you, and risk the wrath of a top-secret consortium of scientific geniuses backed with all the funding, nuclear technology, bad ideas and pure will necessary to control the entire world, you’ve got to be kidding.)
The videos do take a long time to download. Don’t let that stop you. Download one. You’ll download them all.
You will become a walking advertisement for them, under a hypnotic spell with which they will control every move you make for the rest of your life.
Then you will buy their DVD.
And sign up for their mailing list.
I did. I’m sure it will be worth it.
Not that I am under their control, because I’m not.
Really.
You have to believe me.
And no, I am not downloading another movie in the background as I am typing this.
My connection is usually this slow.
Honest.
I will not be watching Detective Elephant Man very shortly, because I am not under their control.
They are not at all like Scientologists.
They cannot control you.
And they do not control me.
Soon, it will be done.
And I will watch and I will laugh.
See? I’m not controlled by them.
I can resist. It is not futile.
