Congress Proves the US is Weak
So the President and his supporters reached a “compromise” allowing torture, secret prisons, and allowing people to be tried and sentenced without seeing the evidence against them or being able to confront their accusers.
Rather than setting the standard, and leading the way on how POWs should be treated, we are lowering the bar and stooping to the level of the terrorists and our supposed enemies. “The terrorists and other countries do this, we want to do those thing also” is not leading, it’s following. It’s weak. Craven. Wimpy. Spineless. Impotent.
It’s letting those we are suppposedly trying to defeat set policy, and by doing that we are defeated.
We have officially lost the War on Terror. Congress, the President and his minions are a bunch of pansies.
