Sharon Bailey
Last night, I ran into a lady friend of mine, Sharon Bailey. She sings jazz, and is not only very cute, but has a very engaging personality and a great voice. I fell in love with her when I first heard her sing at Bobby McGee’s across from UB’s South Campus in the University Plaza a couple of years ago. She has a certain stage presence, and carries on conversations with the crowd. We talked for some time while the show was going on. One of the guys playing went to high school with her dad, and that’s why she was there.
It’s funny, the website couldn’t be called http://www.sharonbailey.com/ because that was already taken by a jewelry artist in NYC. So, she used parts of her name to create the web address. I’m glad I got my website before some other Eric Ptak took it.
Anyway, give the album a listen to, it’s good. It looks like an old 45 single, and it even has ridges in it to mimic the grooves in a vynil record.
