Strange Dreams
Last night, I fell asleep listening to Coast to Coast AM. George had a life coach on, and he sounded like an interesting guy. I have to make the time to find out who he was, and check out his books in the library.
Anyway, I had a lot of vivid dreams last night. Most involved, one way or another, running in races. In one, I was inside a building for a 100-yd dash. The gun went off, and I started slow, but then sped up. then, after about halfway through, I was well ahead of everyone except for two people. I slowed up, and just finished the race in third place. I wa somewhat disappointed in myself, because I did not try harder, but then, the two who beat me were so far ahead, ther was no way I could catch up. I was also using my arms, for some reason, to pull myself ahead, almost as if I were swimming but I was running.
There was also this girl and baby who kept appearing in my dreams, as I was going to classes. She had short, close cropped dirty-blonde-reddish hair, wire-frame glasses, and was thin. Almost an Irish look to her. The baby, apparently was hers. I’m not sure that I am the father. She kept talking about raises and promotions I was getting, and how that meant more money.
There was also alot of traveling over bridges to view foot races going on below, peering over cliffs to look at farms. In one, somone (an unknown male) in the group tossed a styrofoam cup down the cliff. I cautioned them not to. The farmer confronted us. He was a burly, ugly man. He made us clean his property.
They were odd dreams.
