A few days ago, the Democrats caved in. They capitualted to the Moron-in-Chief and his supporters. Rather than doing the right thing and bringing our troops home, they do the wrong by re-funding the war.This Congress was elected for one reason and one reason only: to get our troops out of Iraq and get them safely home. By passing this bill, they esentially gave the finger to America.

Thankfully, Clinton and Higgins both voted against it. People might talk shit about the reasons why they voted against it, but they did. I wrote them, giving my appreciation for their votes. Schumer didn’t vote for it or against it: he did not vote at all. I wrote him, asking why he did not vote.

There’s been discussion lately about whether or not America is broken, as evicenced by the Democratic capitulation, recent elections, and the Bush White House. If people continue to stand by and do nothing, America is broken.

So make a choice: participate and do what’s necessary to make the country and this world a better place. Or you can do nothing, drink your beer, watch your TV, smoke your pot, surf the net, and lose what freedoms you have. You can be someone, or you can be a clone.
