Profits for Healthcare?
I saw a story in the New York Times in which the health insurance industry recorded $100 billion in profits last year. That’s about 8 and a third billion a month in profits alone. It makes you wonder what kind of money they really took in. I mean, what were their costs, outlays, expenditures, taxes, etc?
