It’s amazing. The other day, they played a bad game and won anyway. Yesterday, Toronto tried to outmuscle the Sabres, as they couldn’t outskate us and drawing penalties just wouldn’t work, since our powerplay is one of the best in the league. We still won.

Ottowa lost in a shootout to the lowly Bruins, who the Sabres have beaten six times this year. This means that Buffalo is one point out of first, and Saturday becomes a showdown in Ottowa for first place in the division. We’ve been creeping up on them and closing the gap for a long time, and I think that they’ve been looking over their shoulder at us for a while. Now, we are right here, and we are ready to wrest first place away from them.

Then, it’s time to go for most points in the league, and unseating Carolina.
